Kris Knab Never got my CD. Had to file PayPal claim. The label contact me once weeks ago saying it would be sent only to never send it... I would not recommend ordering anything from Tympanik Audio! Very disappointing. Bad communication and fake promises of sending a CD that I paid for months ago. Someone is enjoying my $. I will get it back, but would've rather just got the CD I ordered. The music is what it is all about. No wonder the label isn't active anymore!

Kris Aroo Experienced a real mental trip listening to this from beginning to end. Plenty of captivating and diverse range of sounds for me to go back and hear something new every time. Great for drawing and such. I could envision this music fitting well for a cyberpunk dystopian type setting as well. All in all, Tympanik has some of the greatest IDM producers I've ever heard and this album is definitely top-tier. Favorite track: Sevastopol's Nexus.

about

Legiac began in 2007 with the collaboration of Don and Roel Funcken (Funckarma, Quench) and Cor Bolten (Dif:use) to create their first full length ‘Ming Feaner‘ on the Sending Orbs label. Combining intricate electronics with crisp beats and punchy melodies, ‘Mings Feaner‘ was met with open arms by intelligent dance music community.

With previous works released on such esteemed labels such as Skam, Ad Noiseam, Arcola (Warp subsidiary), Schematic, N5MD and others, Legiac now returns with Roel Funcken and Cor Bolten helming their sophomore album ‘The Faex Has Decimated‘ on Tympanik Audio.

‘The Faex Has Decimated‘ sees a combination of Boltens darker, more eerie vibes spidering through Roel’s trademark syncopated glitches, immaculate production, and warm melodic dreamscapes – as only Legiac can deliver.

Available May 19th, 2015 on CD and Digital formats. Artwork by shift.
